They are safely in Tenn. where they will spend Christmas Eve with some special friends Steve, and Branda. They will leave Christmas morning for Oklahoma City to see Cheri's cousin Joyce. Then the next day it is the drive HOME to Washington as fast as they can. Pray for good weather. Mom

I talked to them last night, and heard about the nail in the tire and bubble gum fix.
Merry Christmas to you all! I'm cooking Christmas dinner for just us two... since I don't know if I'll have to work next year or the year after I wanted to make this one a nice one
Turkey-it's brining now (my first time to have a brined turkey)
Whole grain stuffing with water chestnuts and just a tad of pepperoni
Mashed baby reds
One baked yam, with butter and a bit of brown sugar
Turkey Gravy
Steamed Broccoli & Yellow Squash

Relish Tray of Spicy hot baby dills and jumbo black olives
Homemade rolls and then Candy rolls when those are done
Pumpkin Pie & cool whip
Apricot Cookies
All washed down with Sparkling Peach Spritzer
Served on My Grandmother's China and Red and Ivory Linen
