Barely alive

Well we are two and a half weeks into the three week candy sale. Natalie and Rachel have done a wonderful job so far. We are trying hard to finish strong. Of course as the girls work hard we have to work hard right along side of them. We are VERY TIRED!!!!! It is almost over so I'm sure we will survive. I believe it is good for Natalie to learn that we have to work hard for things. If she can learn that now we won't have to always push her through life trying to make her be less apathetic. I believe with all my heart that we should give 100% to the things that we do. Eventually that can carry over to serving the Lord. What a blessing a strong work ethic would be in God's work. If we don't win first place that will be fine as long as we have tried our best and we have. I love you all and I will let you know that final standings after I sleep for a few days. Have fun!!!!!

Hailey brought Grandma flowers

She came running into the house yelling "Grandma, I got you a flower." A few minutes later she came back with more and said "I got two more" with the biggest smile you ever saw. I could not love them more if they were orchids.

Today I wanted to clean my jewelry, so I asked Aunt Sylvia for some jewelry cleaner and then after I had cleaned my ring I told Aunt Sylvia that this was a special ring and the story behind it. I first got the ring from Cara a long time ago after we’d know each other a short time. It was one of the most special gifts I’d ever received. I went off to college and the ring got broken. Cara took it back and when she gave it to me again I found that she had altered it to include a beautiful opal and two little diamonds. Unfortunately after some time I knocked the opal against something and it cracked. Cara took it back again and this time it had an amethyst stone in it. As much as I love and appreciate my ring I love and appreciate the lady behind it far more. She’s my dear sister and friend.

Trash The Dress

We had a Blast.

Here's the Direct Link!

http://www.pbase.com/cvinson/edmondsttd

or you can go to my website link, just to the right >>> and click on TTD at the top, then the photo of my mermaid there and it will take you as well.

The fun thing about both of these is that they both have photoshop work done, but it's not really visible. In the photo where they are walking on the beach, they weren't alone. There was someone behind Jeff, and I took her out. The photo of Amber in the water, I boosted all of the colors, but then cut out her head and shoulders and made them pale again (except for lips and eyes) to make it look more dramatic. I love digital camera work! By the way, Craig took the mermaid photo, and it's my far and away favorite of the whole shoot.

Enjoy!
