LOTS of company

Well hello everyone. I am up this morning before my girls. They are absolutely worn out from last night. We had a whole bunch of people over from our Sunday school class and a few more. When we actually counted there were 33 kids and 18 adults. That is a grand total of 51 people. For the most part everyone stayed in the back yard so clean up isn't bad at all. My trash guy is going to faint when he comes on Wednesday, but he'll make it through. We had a great time visiting. Here are a few pictures I thought you might enjoy. Have a great day.James has all of Hailey's cake in his mouth. She really did not appreciate it, but I got her a new piece.
Scott and Karla are so cute
Dan grilled the hot dogs for us. Thanks Dan
Belinda. What a great friend. At least she posed for me. I always turn away from the camera.
LOTS AND LOTS OF KIDS.

Ice cream finished every day off right
I thought they looked so cute.

We had a great time today. We took a couple of hours and went downtown to have some family time. We went on the carousel first. After that they played at the Red Wagon for awhile. We walked all the way around the river. They enjoyed being on the bridge will all the gushing water right under us. It is very beautiful down there. After we made it around the girls were tired from walking, but they could endure one more airplane ride. I was nervous for Hailey. I think sometimes I don't want to admit that she is growing up. She had a blast being so high up in the air. To top off the day we went for ice cream at Wendy's. We needed a day out. When we got home it started raining. Praise the Lord for good timing. I hope all of you are having a good day. If you haven't been to the Burkholders blog, you should check it out. Their new little baby girl is sooooo sweet. Thanks for checking in.

Some things come from Daddy.

There are some things that you know your children learn from
daddy. There is no question in my mind where Hailey got her love for reading on the toilet. She didn't want to go to bed and said she had to go potty. I told her to go. She promptly grabbed the Best Buy paper and went her way. It was hilarious. I'll have to keep these pictures for her future husband. Have a good day.

What are you doing mom????

Monty working hard to get it done right.

The week before Memorial day we bought a table and chairs. We got a great deal on them at a yard sale. The one thing that I didn't really like about them was that the chairs were upholstered. Upholstered chairs are not exactly the most practical thing when you have three kids. (Especially one named Rachel). Anyway, we saw a sale at the fabric store this weekend and decided to go ahead and change them. We bought a vinyl that is very easily cleaned. They look much better (the other material was stripes) and I'm much happier now that I won't have to shampoo my chairs after every meal.

School has come to an end.

I truly believe that God blessed my life the day the Bro. Donley asked me to work in the high school. As they were receiving their awards tonight I couldn't have been more proud. Some may have not received an award, but they accomplished their own goals and I'm proud of them just the same. Tonight they gave me a huge bouquet of flowers to thank me for something that I love to do. I just praise the Lord that I was able to help them to some degree.
Natalie also finished a great year. She averaged a 4.0 for the year and was given a medal. I am proud of her. I've seen her struggle but work through it. I pray that she continues to work hard. We are all happy to have a break. I hope all of you have a great day. Thanks for checking in.
