I remember so many things: Sending mom out to explain to the church people that the woman screaming obsenities at the top of her lungs was NOT our sweet Cheri.
I remember how anxious mom and I were when the doctors changed their minds and decided to go cesarean, and how all we wanted was to hear the baby cry.
I remember John bursting out of the delivery room with his new boy and saying "I have a SON! I have a Son!"
I remember sitting guard duty in front of Cheri's hospital room door because she had zero sleep, and how grandma Joyce got so mad at me.
I remember watching Cheri feed her new boy, and just being transfixed by how beautful she was.
I remember how tiny, how alert and how wonderful he looked.
I remember everything.
