Wedding Expo
The wedding show was this weekend, I talked to hundreds of brides, handed out tons of brochures, and just had fun.
I am tired tonight, and am working an overtime shift tomorrow... I'm actually happy to be going to work for some rest!

Visitors
When I came home fron getting James and Emily from school the other day this was who was in my front yard. They barely flinched when I pulled into the driveway and I had plenty of time to quietly go into the house and get the camera and take these pictures. They stayed for quite awhile afterward and left just before John got home.

Home
My house is the one in the middle of the last picture. I took it looking back up the street after taking the others. Enjoy! It is a view like this that helps make "transition pains" bearable while trying to get settled here. It is beautiful!!!

Shooting a Cat
I had a photo shoot where I visited a cat in his home last night and took photos....
Is this real? I play with a cat and take pictures, the owners play with him and I take pictures....
He's adorable, and cute.
I save the pictures, make a disc, put some on the web, and give them some prints.
I make money.
Pinch me.......

WINTER
Ok, I really do think snow is beautiful and I love to play in it even, but I'm going to complain for a moment. I'M SOOOOOO COLD!!!!! Really this week is overkill in the cold department. If there were any way at all to get the beauty of winter without freezing off our fingers and toes it would be perfect. Well, I feel better. I hope you are all having a wonderful week. We will be busy with the Revival meetings. I've known the Neal's for at least half of my life time. They are wonderful people and it is so nice to be able to spend time around them. I know God will use them here this week. He already has! My cold toes are sore from being stepped on by the preaching. Love you all and we'll talk at you soon.

Back from a wild weekend.
Since Mom told you about Clark fork I thought I would fill you in on our part of the weekend. First let me say that I absolutely loved seeing Christa and Eric there together doing what God has for them. I think Christa is such a wonderful person and it was neat to see how things have worked out for good. With that being said, Christa and Eric allowed us to stay up at the camp Saturday night. The girls had a blast running all over that big house and cheering for Mommy while I was playing pool with Monty. I won the first game by sheer luck. I quit after the second because I could see I wasn't getting any better and Monty was just warming up. After the luncheon at the church we went back to the camp and bundled the girls up for their first sledding trip. Natalie was ready to go as soon as we got up there. Rachel went by herself but preferred to go with Daddy. She went down with Monty and got a face full of snow from his boot. She did a face plant at the bottom but promptly stood up and said "That was soooo fun!" Hailey was funny. As soon as we got to the bottom she would say, "Let's go up mommy." When we got to the top she would say, "Don't forget about me mommy." She was referring to the fact that I had already pushed the other two down and she was still at the top. It was a lot of fun and just what we all needed for a little get away.

Clark Fork
Hi All We went to Clark Fork to church today. It is the twentieth anniversary of the church. It is amazing to think that it was that long ago that we started the ministry there. Today was a big blessing. Many people came and thanked Gary for his labor there. So many people that were there when the church started came back for the day to hear Gary preach. The pastor of the church asked all those whose lives were influenced by Gary to raise their hands. Many, many hands went up. Praise the Lord. Gary did a wonderful job of preaching. He has not been feeling well at all. I was concerned that it would hinder his preaching but it did not. I am so very proud of the job he did today. I feel like he is truly on the mend.
However, I am going to insist that he quit his new job. He HATES the job. He dreads going to work and that is no way to live, for just a paycheck that we can do without. He said that he as to quit. I asked him what kind of notice he plans to give. When he did not answer, I asked if he thought he could hang on for two weeks so he could give that much notice. He answered that he did not know but his face told me 'no'. I am pushing for him to go in tomorrow, on his day off, and quit. We shall see if he does it. He has such good character that he will work himself to death if I do not watch him. His brain is not, or was not, telling that he is too old to work 57 hours a week. Now his body is telling him. He needs to listen before it is too late. That is why my job kicked in.
Monty and Jackie went up to the camp last night and spent the night. It was wonderful to have them in the service today. Monty even sang a special. Most people had no idea that he has such a wonderful voice. Several people told him that he needs to make a CD.
They did not head home when we did. They took the girls out to the camp to go sledding. I am sure they are having a wonderful time.
Praise the Lord for a wonderful day. Mom/Sylvia

Good Afternoon,
I thought I would add a little blurb since I haven't been on here for quite a long time. Life is still busy. I don't think that will ever change. I love it, but I have to admit that I have been tired lately. We are doing well though. I have been working a little more since I was helping with the K-5 class. I always enjoy teaching and I'm always glad when I get to go home. Hopefully Monty's work will pick back up here soon. This is always a very slow time for his type of work. The Lord provides and we are doing fine though. Generally it starts to pick back up soon.
My mom will be in and out a few more times before she is on the other side of the state. It has been so fun to have her here. The girls will miss her so much when she goes. Natalie will be very emotional so pray that she takes its well. Rachel will miss her too, but her mind doesn't stay on any one thing for more than a few minutes. She is constantly onto something new. Hailey won't quite understand yet. I will of course miss her, but I get to talk to her often and hopefully she will back through before the final trip to Africa. I think I will struggle more then. There is just something about knowing that she is still in the States. Africa seems a little further to reach even though most of our contact is by phone anyway.
Well, I will stop rambling for now. I love you all. I'm so happy to have Cheri so much closer. I hope you all are having a great start to your new year. Bye for now.

Cheri and John at home at last!
I went over today for my first visit and to help bring the rest of the contents of my kitchen (lol). They have done so much in only one day, you sure can tell they are a military family with a BLACK BELT in moving!
Scott's basement room is going to be very cool, and his new silver surfer is going to fit right in.
John liked unpacking the pantry the best, as it afforded him certain 'opportunities'.
Michael helped/supervised with the making of the spaghetti. The noodle water was disapproved of.
I got the privilege of sharing the VERY first meal with the dear McP's in their new home! How I love this bunch! Every single one!
I still can hardly believe they are here, and are staying here.
Many more photos to come, and much more love left to give.
