WHAT A DAY!!!!

Ok, Have you ever just had one of those days when everything goes kind of crazy. The best bet for anyone walking into the house is to not ask that famous question -"So exactly what did you do today?"- as they look around. Today happens to be one of those days!!!! It started out fine. I even got the girls out of the house on time and quizzed Natalie on Subtraction and spelling words on the way to school. I got to the school and dropped the kids off and decided to see if my check was there. It wasn't but Debbie was going to the post office to get them so I followed her there. Of course, I can't just get my check and run. We had to talk for awhile. There ends the relaxing part. After that I went to teach Math at Belinda's. There is nothing stressful about that either except that since I had to sit and talk at the post office I was running late. I got home just in time to do my hair before Celeste came over to teach me about my new surger. (I'm very excited to have that by the way.) After she left my life went nutso. I was in the kitchen being the good wife that I am making beef stew. The meat is browning on the stove and I'm chopping potatoes. No problem, Right? Wrong!!!!! Hailey comes in and says "Mom, I'm all wet." Being the attentive person that I am, I said ok, and went back to my potatoes. I checked on the meat and then I heard it. WAS THAT WATER RUNNING IN THE BATHROOM? Surely not! I decided that the best course of action at this point was to go check things out. To my horror I saw the water before I reached the bathroom. For those of you who have been in my house you know that means the water was now running down the hallway. My sweet little Hailey had decided to wash her hands. She got the water on, but not OFF. It was on full blast making a beautiful waterfall in front of the sink. I wish I would have had more time to enjoy it, but the damage had to be repaired. I turned the water off, stopped the flow down the hallway and remembered the meat on the stove. Thankfully it was just right and not burned. I was trying to look on the bright side of things and said "Well, at least the floor is cleaned." My sweet darling Rachel pointed to the ground and said, "No mommy, its still dirty right there." KIDS, You have to love them or you'll go crazy. I hope all of you are having a much calmer day than us. Love you. JRich

Christy's Headed Back

We sure are proud of our girl, and we love her very much. Our temporary sadness at separation is tempered by our happiness that she is doing something she loves, and that she has a purpose that is meaningful to her.

What can be a greater gift in this life?

WE SO LOVE YOU CHRISTY! SAFE JOURNEY!

Girls Dresses

Here are the dresses I found for the girls. I decided that I do like them much better than the blue ones. I didn't realize they had glued on blue giltter. These are much more elegant. I think they may be too big, I have NO idea how to shop for children! Poor Jackie it was like probably listening to an idiot savant on the phone....

:)

If you have any Spokane friends or families who want me to do family photos while I am there, direct them to my website, I have some packages on my Services page. There is a $149 package that I think everyone can afford and most everyone would like. If we can get a group together and the weather is decent we can get the photos done fairly quickly and everyone would be happy! If nobody wants to do it, then that's cool too, you guys can just have the best family photos in the world ;)

We made it!!!!

Well, the three week candy sale is over. I cannot tell you how glad I am to be home tonight. I'm wearing sweats and a sweatshirt and I won't leave my house for anything tonight. Natalie sold 2,914 candy bars. She came in 2nd place to another cute little girl in her class. Both worked very hard. Natalie received $550 for a prize so Monty and I will decide what to get for them. It definitely needs to be substantial after all the work. Thank you all for your help. I love you all.
