I cannot believe how busy things have been lately. Natalie started school on Tuesday morning. Oh my goodness, she was excited! The difference this year is that I can't stick on a pair of sweat pants and drop her off. As soon as she is at school I leave for Belinda's house to help Shelby with Math. I absolutely adore the Howes family so I am thoroughly enjoying myself. On Monday's and Fridays I will help her after school hours since I will be at the school for those days. Anyway, I recently asked Pastor Boyle if I could redo the baby nursery. I gave him a figure of $150 for everything. He approved the budget and so now of course it was time to spend some money. Wednesday, Cyndi DeGarmo and I went (with 5 children) to pick out paint and different things for the decor. Thursday we set to work painting. We did one wall blue, one wall green, one wall pink, and one wall yellow. It looks cute. The pink is a little brighter than we anticipated, but turned out good anyway. Today of course I spent the day working in the high school. I am so thankful that God is allowing me to be a part of the school. After school hours Cyndi and I met back in the nursery to clean up and put up some of the decor. We still have a little work to do, but it looks great. Well, Have a great Labor day weekend. I love you all.

School
I want to thank everyone for praying for me in the last few days. I made it through days one and two at school. I love teaching myself, without the DVDs. I have several 'pill' kids but we are working on that. I will post some pictures of my classroom as soon as I can find the time. I have seventeen kids this year.

New Job
Hello Dear Family,
I thought I would let you in on my good news. I'm very excited to be working at the school now on Mondays and Fridays. It amazes me how God provides for us. He is allowing me to do something I enjoy without neglecting my home and family. It will also be a help to Sarah Miller. She has been trying to do everything that comes with being a youth Pastor's wife and helping her husband in the school as well. Maybe this will help her have some much needed down time. I hope you all are doing well. I love each of you so much. Have a wonderful day.

little ladies in Thai dresses
The little one's head is right by Auntie's name on the wall in the first picture. She does not like having her picture taken.

Hemispherical Completeness
When I got the phone call last night and heard Christy's sweet voice, it was so wonderful to know that she was HERE!
Even in an age where we have instant messenger, e-mail, phones, and still can be in contact every day I still feel more complete today knowing that she is HERE. Even though I have not seen her yet, I have a sense of relief. I am less anxious today. Christy is close.
We are all HERE, on the same continent, together.
For a while at least.
Welcome Home Christy! We love you!
Love, Cara

Black & White
I finished my last wedding that's booked last Saturday. The bride had a terrible sunburn, but when I converted her to black and white she looked just magical. This is one of my most favorite photos of the entire day.
There are more that are on the website, but there are 2,200 in total. Lots of work. This one will be a prominent feature of the September wedding show.
